Actor, Motion Picture Producer. He appeared in several productions nationwide over many decades, often reprising roles for which he became celebrated, such as Franklin D. Roosevelt in 'Annie', Cap’n Andy in 'Show Boat', Major General Stanley in 'The Pirates of Penzance' and the Wizard in 'The Wizard of Oz'. On film he appeared in 'Hello Dolly!' (1969), 'Tunnel Vision' (1976), 'An Enemy of the People' (1978), 'Hadley's Rebellion' (1987) and 'The Arrogant' (1988). Among television shows and made-for-TV movies he had roles on were 'Good Grief', 'MADtv', 'Weird Science', 'Totally Hidden Video', 'General Hospital', 'The Doomsday Clock' and the TV documentaries 'Laurel & Hardy: Their Lives and Magic' and 'Abbott and Costello Meet Jerry Seinfeld. Williams was also a successful writer, director and producer, garnering numerous festival awards for his 2010 feature documentary 'The Last First Comic'.
