Mrs. Mary E. Comly, widow of Benjamin Comly, died Sabbath evening, June 1st 1919 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William R. White Philadelphia, Pa, in her 84th year.
She and her husband were natives of Mt. Pleasant Ohio and came of pioneer parentage of that township.
There she spent the greater part of her life and there she called home.
Her last desire was to be buried at the side of her husband Benjamin, who lies within a shaded tomb in Highland Cemetery in the quaint and quiet village of Mt. Pleasant.
Her christian faith was simple, strong and constant.
The Bible was the best book in the world and her daily guide. She lived as she read there from.
She is survived by 2 children, Mrs. Wm. R. White of Philadelphia and M. Eva Dodson of New York City.
Funeral services will be held at the Highland Cemetery Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock pm.
