Grace married to Robert MacClure Brookes on 24 September 1909 at Morgan Park, Illinois. Morgan Park is a community on the far south side of Chicago. They made their home first at Calumet, Illinois where her husband was a clerk with Armour and Company. They relocated to Chicago about 1920 where her husband was associated with Academy Packing House and Awen Cheese Company as a business administrator. Grace was a resident of Lima, Ohio when she was admitted to Paradise Oaks Nursing Home at Cloverdale for extended care. Grace and Robert were the parents of three children; Robert MacClure Brooks, Junior, Helen Olive Brookes, and James Greenman Brookes.
