Peter Nogaj is the son of Stanley Nogaj and Katherine Stachowiak.

Peter Nogaj and Helen Cerbin were married on July 30, 1928 in Crown Point, Indiana

Together they had four children, Frederick (Doris), Alice (Cyril) Holesha, Thomas (Josephine) and Dorothy.

WWI - 1st Sgt. 2nd Infantry he also served in the Spanish American War as 1st Sgt.

At the time of his death he was a guard at the museum, and living at 7231 S. Wolcott Ave. Chicago, Ill.

Peter Nogaj passed away at Holy Cross Hospital, from heart problems. He was buried through Crane Funeral Directors, Chicago, Ill. on June 25, 1965.
