El DORADO SPRINGS -Service for George Thorns Murphy, 80, El Dorado Springs, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Isbel-Carothers Chapel here with the Rev. Everett Smith officiating. Burial will be in Virgil City Cemetery.
Mr. Murphy died about 8:28 a.m. Wednesday in the Cedar County Memorial Hospital where be had be a patient for one day after apparently suffering a heart attack.
He was a pastor at United Liberty Baptist Church, Virgil City.
Survivors include his wife, Leona, a son, Jessie
