Wilford Gary, 31, dropped dead Saturday on Eight street, Benton Harbor, following an asthma attack. He had been in ill health for some time.
He was employed on the John Stewart farm, Meadowbrook road, and came here from Osceola, Ark. He is survived by his wife, Ethel and his mother, Mrs. Emma Roosevelt, of Osceola, Ark., as well as a brother, Drew Gary, Memphis, Tenn; a half brother, Isaac Wallace, Osceola, Ark.; and four sisters; Mrs. Ethel Taylor, Osceola; Mrs. Willy Lucy, Memphis; Mrs. L. T. Hoster, Osceola, and Miss Rosa Lee Roosevelt, Osceola.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from Robbins Brothers Chapel, where friends may call. Interment will take place in Crystal Springs cemetery.
