Mrs. Ware's services were Sunday, February 25, at 2:00 p.m. at Dickens Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Forrest Memorial Park east of Batesville.
She was born June 12, 1912, in Quitman County to the late William Henry Mehan and Nora Homan Mehan. She was a member of Goodway Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Lavelle W. Joiner of Sardis, Melva W. Bray of Southaven, and Carol W. Bryant of Marks; five sons, Milton Ware, Floyd Ware and Harold Ware, all of Batesville, Shannon Ware of Pope and Monty Ware of Crowder; two sisters, Catherine M. Woods of Weslaco, TX and Florance M. Cozart of Ann Arbor, MI; three brothers, Everett Mehan, James Mehan, and Webster Mehan, all of Pope; 31 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
