Clyde Earl Drury Jr. SMSGT, USAF (Retired) On July 31, 2015, we lost our beloved and esteemed father surrounded by his seven children. Clyde was born on March 21, 1930 in Springfield, IL to Clyde and Louise Drury. He was preceded in death by his loving and beautiful wife, Mila, who passed away on March 9, 2015. Left to cherish his memories are his seven children, Gloria Bell of San Antonio, TX; Julie Baublits, Clyde E. Drury III (Julie), Greg Drury (Linda), and Richard Drury (Diana) of Tacoma, WA; Ann Watson from Virginia; and Debra Davis (Bill) of Las Vegas, NV. Also left to mourn his passing are his brother David Drury and sisters Barbara Nugent and Billie Stack. Grandpa Drury is honored and revered by his 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was a decorated Korean War veteran, who proudly served 20+ years in the Air Force. In addition, he was an avid fisherman who was a published author of fishing books. The family would like to thank the personal and attentive care he received from the CCU staff (2nd floor South) at Madigan Hospital. Because of his faith in Jesus Christ, he is now at peace and at home with Mama and his Heavenly Father. He will be sorely missed for the rest of our lives! A memorial service will be held 10 am Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Mountain View.
