Lina was one of twelve children born to John Frederick Hanselmann and his wife, Katherine Barbara Klink. She married Oscar John Toerper around 1901 and they had two children. They later divorced.
Lina went on to be married and widowed four times. Those husbands (in order) were: George P Oliger, Felix W Gotcher, George Witt Wright, and Thomas Cavanaugh.
Even though George Wright died in 1953, 'Grandma Lina' remained an active and much-loved member of the Wright family for the rest of her life.
