Beatrice Walkup Dies In Hospital

Beatrice W. Walkup, 67, a real estate broker and a resident of this area since 1935, died Friday in a local hospital. She lived at 5680 Trinidad Way.
A member of the Southland Realty Co., she was active in the development of Valencia Park. She was one of the organizers of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and formerly was past matron of the Batesville, Ark. chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Dolph Westmoreland, of San Diego; two sons, Douglas M., of San Diego and Houston H., of Virginia, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Lewis Colonial Mortuary.
