Dwight Leon Scott, age 76, passed away on Aug. 15, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol; two sons, Darrin Scott and the Rev. Derrek Scott; daughter, Denise Scott; and his sister, Wanda Barnett; and other family members. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he worked for IBM and retired after 35 years. He was Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 19 in Pueblo for a number of years. He was a Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator for the Knights of Columbus. For many years, he was a driver for the Meals on Wheels program. There will be a vigil service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19 at Shrine of St. Therese. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, also at the Shrine. He will be laid to rest at a later date at Fort Logan in Denver.
