Wife and widow of Frank Woodworth Hazelbaker. Agnes graduated from Custer County High school in 1935. Before her marriage, she worked for seven years in Washington D.C. as a secretary in the Department of Agriculture. She eventually worked directly for Henry Wallace, who was then the secretary of agriculture and later became vice president under President Roosevelt. She was a past Worthy Matron and past Grand Officer of the Order of Eastern Star.
