Emma DeEtte Beaver, daughter of Samuel and Mary Beaver, was born at Cedar Bluffs, Neb. December 17, 1883. In 1904, she became the wife of Orville E. Ziegler of Berwell, Neb. To this union four children were born, one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Luvern)Menk who passed away in 1944;and three sons;George, Wilson and Raymond. Mr. Ziegler died in 1942. Five years later she was united in marriage with Charles Dahlman. They lived on the farm near Hamill, later retiring to their home in Colome. Here she became an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church until her final illness June 24.She passed away at St. Johns Hospital in Rapid City. Services were held at the Zion Lutheran Church of Colome.
