Mary was the only American-born child of Sarah & Shepsil Lewinsky who sailed to New York in August of 1876 from Hamburg. Mary married (2 Jun 1896) Albert Ellman (1871-d. 19 March 1903) and had three children with him prior to his death: Ben b 1897 (spouse Anna Persky), Della b.1899 (spouse Lewis Burton Levine), and Dorothy b. 1901-1903 (spouse Emanuel Schwartz).
Mary then married (29 Dec 1909) Abe Miller born in the 1880's (died after 1940) and they had 2 sets of twins: Roslyn & Debrah Miller b. 11 July 1911. Deborah died 30 July 1911 and Roslyn died 11 Jan 1914 at age 2. And later---Sherwin Berle Miller and Shirley Miller (Gorin) born 8 Feb 1916. Mary's older brother Hyman also had a set of twins born in 1888, Peter and Hattie.
