Rus retired from the U.S. Postal Service and the U.S. Navy where he proudly served in WW II. Rus was a family man who loved his garage, woodworking, tools, and trains.
He is survived by his wife, Bev; children Karen, Cindy, Russell Jr., Jennifer; son-in-law John; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and his brother Bob and family.
Memorial service at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 3900 Pierce St. in Wheat Ridge at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12th.
