Lawrence R. (Abe) Bolt, 62, of 2121 Clear Lake Ave. died at 12:50 p.m. Friday in St. John's Hospital.
Born in Ramsey, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Bolt.
A carpenter, he was a Springfield resident most of his life.
He was active in playing baseball and for many years carried over a 200 average in city bowling leagues.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jacob (Charlotte) Hinds, Mrs. Joseph (Lois Jean) Mahoney, both of Chatham, and Mrs. James (Carol) Harford of Springfield; one son, Larry R. of Springfield; his mother, Mrs. Pearle Forstier of Springfield; three brothers, Pete and Ben, both of Springfield, and Clayton of Florida; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Staab Funeral Home, Rev. Edward R. Hellyer officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
