He leaves behind son, Robert L. Hoyt Jr. of La Jolla, California; three daughters, Mary A. Hunter of Sun Valley, California, Robin L. Hoyt of Rogue River, Oregon, and June E. Olmstead of Grants Pass, Oregon; two granddaughters, Shanna Christoffersen and Melissa M. Lenker; three grandsons, Robert L. Hoyt III, Matthew A. R. Olmstead, and Kevin M. Olmstead; three great-granddaughters, Sydni Christoffersen, Ashly Christoffersen, and Elleanor Rose Hoyt; great-grandson, Lewis Robert Hoyt; brothers, Lewis Hoyt and Paul Hoyt.
Services will be held at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, located at 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, California on Friday, July 24th, viewing from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, July 25th at 9:30 a.m.
