Penton, Olive "Dolly", 80, born April 25, 1935, passed away on August 25, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dolly was born in Los Angeles, California and was a longtime resident of Anaheim, California. She worked for Robertshaw Controls and retired from Hughes Aircraft.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Luneta Holt, sister, Neta Davis and brother, Tim Holt.
Dolly spent her retirement years on the move enjoying many adventures with family and friends. The following were proud to call her Mom, Grandma, Granny and GG Dolly; son Earl Penton, daughter Cindy (Mark) Anderson, son Doug Penton, stepdaughter Linda (John) Cox, stepson Larry (Pam) Penton, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and many friends and neighbors.
Services and burial will be held on Wednesday, September 2 at 3:00pm in the Memorial Chapel at Rose Hills in Whittier, California. A celebration of her amazing life will follow at Dolly's home. In lieu of flowers, please help keep Dolly's memory alive with random acts of kindness as she did each day.
