He is survived by two sons, John (Rosalynn) Warsaw and Howard Ralph Warsaw Jr.; two sisters, Esther (Walter) Winterland and Marjorie (Bill) Schurr; one granddaughter; three step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren;.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He later served as a B-29 pilot in the Strategic Air Command.
