Lake Kiowa resident Ann Elizabeth Hennessy, 80, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Medical Center of Plano. She was born on December 14, 1934 in Clarksville, Texas the daughter of Virgil L. and Murtie (Sturch) Watson. Ann was employed as a vice president in banking before retiring.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Hennessy of Lake Kiowa; daughter, Debra Whitworth and husband, Demian of Denton; step-children, John Hennessy, Jr. and wife, Pam of Sugarland, Sharon Fowler of Lancaster; Carolyn Burns of Austin and William Hennessy and wife, Evon of Plano; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Martha Crayton and seven siblings.

Funeral services for Ann Hennessy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 24th at the Pavilion in Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Darrell McIntyre officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville.
