Louis F. Madison, 68, died yesterday at Memorial hospital, after an illness of two months. Mr. Madison, a resident of Springfield for 30 years, was born Feb. 13, 1883, in Pittsfield. On Dec. 14, 1911, he was married to Maude Lancaster. He was a member of the West Side Christian church.
Surviving are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Green, of Peoria; Mrs. Ray Suter, Mrs. Rosemary Moore, both of Alton; Mrs. Carl Peter, of city; four brothers, J. Paul, of Table Grove; Homer, Vincent and Harvey, all of Pittsfield; two sisters, Mrs. Silva Darling, Mrs. Iva Dresshouse, both of Detroit, Mich., and 10 grandchildren.
Services at Vancil Funeral home and burial in Oak Ridge cemetery.
