PLEASANT PLAINS, IL – Maxine E. Richards, 91, passed away Sept. 8, 2015, at Scott County Nursing Center.
She was born Jan. 5, 1924, to William A. and Anna (Boesdorfer) Kunz. She married David W. Richards on Aug. 2, 1941.
Maxine was the owner of Richards Drive In in Pleasant Plains. She was a member of Richland Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and playing Bingo.
She is survived by her children, sister, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Curry, and a son, Larry Richards.
Graveside Service: 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, at Richland Baptist Cemetery in Pleasant Plains, with Pastor Duane Turley officiating.
