On Sunday, August 30, Andrea Cornwell passed away to be with her Lord and savior, Jesus. A private committal service was held on September 4th at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, led by Pastor Frank Estes of West Oaks Fellowship Church. Later the same day in the early evening a dinner in Andrea's honor was held at the nearby Cracker Barrel restaurant, attended by invited family and friends.
Andrea truly loved the Lord and also people as he asked. It's a blessing that her personal bible shows this, as it is extensively underlined and notated in her own hand, she made a box around a favorite scripture in the book of Job, that we can regard as her "word of testimony". "For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth; and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: whom I shall see for myself and mine eyes shall behold, and not another" (i.e.; It will really be me with him!)
A heartfelt thanks to all who loved Andrea in life and now cherish her memory. Andrea is survived by her devoted husband, John. Special thanks to dear friends, Pat Miller, Israel and Andrea Hernandez; their daughters Joselyn and Jovanna, Miriam Ordonez and her sister, Marlene and loving next door neighbors Phil and Sally. God Bless you
