Gauthier, Harriet H.

Harriet H. Gauthier, age 90, of 2304 9th St., Two Rivers, died late Monday night, June 1, 2015, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.

Harriet was born on January 11, 1925, in Manitowoc County, a daughter of the late Julius and Mary (Zermuehlen) Mandel. She was employed as an inspector at Paragon Electirc Co. for many years, retiring at age 60. Harriet was a very active member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church where she was a member of OWLS, volunteered at Hamilton Care Center, and served funeral dinners with the Ladies Aid Society for many years. She enjoyed gardening, baking, canning, fishing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Sandy and Bob Peroutka, Francis Creek and Renee and Ron Prausa, Two Rivers; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Dallas and Lynne Wiese, Two Rivers and James Wiese, Calif.; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Edwin Wiese and Leslie Gauthier; a son: Lee Wiese; one sister: Eleanore Mandel; and two brothers: Earl Mandel and Hilbert Mandel.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 17th & E. Park Sts., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Arndt with entombment in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.

Memorials in Harriet's name may be made to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice .
