NORWOOD - Funeral services for 66 year old Francis J. Swinyer, 1404 Old Market Road, will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Elder Ken Ashley of the Knapp's Station Community Church presiding. Burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Brasher Falls. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. Mr. Swinyer passed away New Year's Day at his home surrounded by his family.

Francis is survived by his wife, Bonnie, Norwood; a son Francis Jr., Potsdam; a daughter Kimberly and her fiancé Donald Hill, Calcium, NY; his three grandchildren, Kyle and Kolby Swinyer and Makenzie Warriner. Francis is also survived by two sisters Maryann and Dale Adams, Russell and Barbara Goodreau, Brasher. Francis was pre-deceased by his brothers Harold, Everett, Joe Truman, Glenn and Morton and his sisters Ethel Johnson, Irene Sloan and Elizabeth Rolston.

Francis in Saranac Lake, NY on October 19, 1948 to the late Everett and Bertha Donnelly Swinyer, Francis married Bonnie S. Weegar on October 18, 1968. He worked for various companies as a truck driver, retiring from Ameri-gas in Canton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved watching birds.
