Joseph Peroutka, 67, retired town of Kossuth farmer, died Wednesday at his home after an illness of one year. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the Husar Funeral home at Kellnersville and at 10 o'clock at St. Ann's Catholic church at Francis Creek. The Rev. Joseph Rauch will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The rosary will be recited tonight at 8 o'clock at the funeral home. The casket will not be opened either at the funeral home or church.

Mr. Peroutka was a lifelong resident of Kossuth. He was born April 1, 1876 and in 1902 married Miss Anna Sladky. They operated their farm in Kossuth until two years ago when they retired and operation was taken over by their son, Edwin.

Survivors are the widow, one son, Edwin on the homestead, one daughter, Mrs. Emil Popelar of Kellnersville; one brother, Wencil, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Stransky, both of Francis Creek, and three grandchildren.
