: Son of Edward F. McNeill (born ca. 1832 in Louisiana - died 1870-1880 in Kentucky) and wife Amelia (née Barnard) McNeill. Edward was the son of John Taylor McNeill (born ca. 1794 in Robeson Co., NC and died in the first cholera epidemic in New Orleans in 1832) and wife Melissa (née Stewart) McNeill (ca. 1802 in Mississippi and died after June 1870 in Livermore, McLean Co., KY).
