Mrs. Mary Anna Remenar, of West Oakdale, died Saturday at 1:30 a.m. after an illness of several months. Her husband preceded her in death about 18 years ago. She was born in Czechoslovakia but lived in the North Side (since childhood[sic]). She was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church at Freeland. Surviving are the following children:
~ Ignatz, of Millville,Pennsylvania;
~ Marie of Pittsburgh;
~ Aleck[sic-Alexander] with whom she resided.
Also surviving are 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 8:30 with a requiem high mass in St. John's R.C. church, Freeland. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
