Benjamin was a son of Joseph Schumacher and Elizabeth Fritz; ;he lived his entire life in Upper Macungie Township. He was married to Medien [Also seen As- Malara] Mohr on 30 November 1878 at the Weisenberg Church.They had no known children and she passed away on 30 June 1899 at the age of 60 Years,10 months & 17 days
