HYPES, JASON H., 73, of 2545 50th Ave. N. dies Saturday (July 14, 1979). Born in West Virginia, he came here 32 years ago from Marion, Ohio, where he was a crossing guard for the Erie Railroad.

Survivors include his wife Margaret; three sons, Gary, St. Petersburg, Donald, Marion, and Robert, Columbus, Ohio; three daughters, Mary Hypes, St. Petersburg, Faye Chapman and Doris Damoto of Ohio; three brothers, Eugene, Marion, Cecil, West Virginia, and Holt, Indiana; six sisters, Elda Miers, Arizona, Ethel Ramsey, Ohio, Phala Beddow, Oregon, Florence Legg, Helen, Morton and Virginia Skaggs, all of West Virginia; 13 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
