Bonnie Catherwood Pocock, 77, of Vass, formerly of Springfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, at her home.
She was born April 15, 1927, the daughter of John and Dolly Catherwood. She married Clifford Pocock in 1959.
Mrs. Pocock graduated from Lanphier High School and Illinois State University. She worked as a teacher at public schools and at schools in Japan. She was a member of Grace Chapel Church in Sanford, N.C., where she was involved in mission work.
Survivors: husband, Clifford; daughter, Heather Harrington; son, Glen Pocock; a granddaughter; brother, Stanley (wife, Wilma) Catherwood; and a nephew.
Memorial services: 4 p.m. Friday, Grace Chapel Church, Sanford, N.C.
