Kathryn Elizabeth Dodson was born March 2, 1908 in Ringwood , Oklahoma to Matthew and Margaret (Hand) Boyle.

She departed this life on January 6, 2010 at her home at the age of 101 years 10 months and 4 days.

Kathryn had lived in Chouteau for the last 64 years. She was married to C.I. "Slim" Dodson on October 19, 1924; he preceded her in death. Kathryn was a Pediatric Dietary Assistant at St. John's Hospital , retiring in 1972.

She was a member of the Chouteau Presbyterian Church in Chouteau where she served as an Elder. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and traveling. Kathryn loved her birthday parties and was grateful for each and every one of them. She often said that if she had known she was going to live this long she would have worked another 20 years. She liked to have family dinners and just spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathryn is survived by three daughters Kathryn Landrum and husband Seth of Tulsa, Karolyn Watson and husband Jim of Claremore, Mary Ann Due and husband Dwain of Chouteau, 21 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, 1 great great great grandchild.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, two sons and three grandchildren.
