In about 1816, she gave birth to Christiana, whose father is not known. Joanna maintained cordial relations with the Jerred Ives family and Christiana spent time with her half siblings. In 1838, Joanna moved to Texas with her son, Caleb S. Ives, and nothing more is known of her.]
