US Congressman. He was admitted to the bar in 1844 and began practice in Celina. He was a member of the Ohio House from 1851 to 1855, and was Speaker from 1854 to 1855. He was elected to Congress as a Democrat in 1862 and served two terms, 1863 to 1867. After declining to run for reelection in 1866 he returned to his Celina law practice and became active in several businesses. He was the grandfather of Congressman and federal Judge Frank Le Blond Kloeb.
