Skateboarding Dog. Tillman was an English Bulldog who started skateboarding when he was only 10 weeks old. In 2007, he became an internet sensation when his owner, Ron Davis, posted a video of Tillman skateboarding. The video would go on to be viewed more than 20 million times. In 2009, Tillman established the Guinness World Record for the “Fastest Skateboarding Dog” and would go on to appear in several television commercials and on several shows, including 'Greatest American Dog', 'Animal Planet', 'National Geographic'. 'Huckabee', 'The Craig Ferguson Show', 'The Daily Habit' and 'People Pets'. He appeared on Rose Parade Floats in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Tillman, who was named for former NFL player Pat Tillman who was killed in 2004 while serving in the U.S. Army, was made an Honorary Private First Class Marine. Tillman, who would also learn to surf and skimboard, died of a heart-related illness.
