Wayne Eugene Farrar of McKinney, Texas passed away November 1, 2015 at the age of 86. He was born February 24, 1929 to William Farrar and Susan Oma Ward in Waxahachie, Texas.

Wayne served his country proudly in the United States Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict.

He married Naomi Ruth Gallop on June 30, 1950 in McKinney, Texas and they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this past June. Wayne spent many years in the radio business and later retired from the post office. His favorite past time was fishing. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Ruth Farrar of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Brenda Debacker and husband Bill of Frisco, Texas; son, Michael Farrar and wife Danice of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Wolf and husband, Eric, Julie Clements, Brian Farrar, Brandon Farrar and wife Sara, Crista Farrar and special friend John Garcia; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Brinlee, Lindsey, Bryson, Aubrie, and Tuff; sister-in-law, Isabell Farrar; several cousins and other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment will immediately follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
