Patricia Louise Thompson Harris, of Redmond, WA, previously of San Marino, CA, died April 22, 2010. Pat was born on January 23, 1943 in San Francisco, the daughter of Kathryn G. Paddock and James Brooks Thompson. She attended San Jose State University and graduated from Whittier College. Pat worked for the YMCA and served on its board. She was an active and gifted volunteer for schools and community groups, including the San Marino PTA, the Shakespeare League, and the National Charity League. She loved to costume musicals. Pat was the founding President for the Trilogy Children's Hospital Guild, which was renamed the Pat Harris Trilogy Guild in her honor.
Pat is survived by her daughters Robin & Amy; brother Jim (and his wife Judie); 2 grandchildren, Alex and Tyler. A funeral service will be at Oneonta Congregational Church in South Pasadena on May 22, 2010 at 11:30am. The family suggests remembrances to the Pat Harris Trilogy Guild, c/o Marie Hanson, 12343 Adair Creek Way NE, Redmond, WA 98053 and to Tierra del Sol Foundation, c/o Gail Peters, 9919 Sunland Boulevard, Sunland, CA 91040. Interment in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, Los Angeles County, CA.
