Fred Drasner, 56, town of Kossuth farmer, died suddenly Thursday afternoon at Holy Family hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral home, the Rev. C. H. Phipps officiating. Burial will be in the National cemetery at Francis Creek.

A veteran of World War I, in which he served with the 12th veterinary company, Mr. Drasner was born in 1892 on the parents’ home farm, route 1, Whitelaw, which he operated. He was a school clerk in Kossuth for 20 years and a director of the cemetery association of Francis Creek for four years. He was a member of the Legion post in this city and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Two Rivers. In 1924 he married Miss Julia Pivonka and located on the homestead farm.

Survivors are his wife; son, Raymond, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Holsen and Mrs. Louis Reindl of this city.

The body may be viewed from Sunday noon until the hour of services.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars will conduct military rites at the grave.
