Mrs. Fred Drsaner, 64, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, Town of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, died Monday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, the Rev. Ortwin Hanson, pastor of Calvary Assembly of God Church, Manitowoc, officiating. Burial will be in Francis Creek National Cemetery.

Mrs. Drasner was born Julia Pivonka Dec. 2, 1896, at Krok, Kewaunee County, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Tomandl Pivonka. She was married in 1925 to Fred Drasner at Manitowoc and they lived on the home farm at Rt. 1, Whitelaw, for a number of years. He preceded her in death 16 years ago and a son, Raymond, preceded her in death in February, 1959.

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of Post 1248, Two Rivers, a member of the Unity of Bohemian Ladies and of the Social Calendar Club.

Survivors include three brothers, Thomas of Muskegon, Mich., Edward of Gaastra, Mich., and Frank of West DePere; two sisters, Mrs. Emily Tesarik of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Theresa Brunswick of Iron River, Mich., and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until the time of service. Members of the Auxiliary of the 11th Gold Star Post, VFW, will meet at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
