FRITZ H. CARLSON
(1903 - 2000)

Fritz H. Carlson, age 97, formerly of 9729 County Road R, Whitelaw, died Tuesday morning, January 25, 2000, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2000, at Rockwood Ev. Lutheran Church, Rockwood. Rev. John Hildebrant will officiate with burial to follow at Kossuth No. 1 Cemetery, township of Kossuth.

Fritz was born January 16, 1903, in Ironwood, Mich., son of the late Anders Frederick Carlson and Johanna Haggman Carlson. He grew up in the Ironwood, Mich. area and attended local schools there. Fritz was employed as a carpenter for the Schult Mobile Homes in Ironwood, Mich., until his retirement in 1968. He married the former Alice Eliason on November 9, 1933, at Salem Lutheran Church, Ironwood, Mich. She preceded him in death on February 21, 1995. Fritz and his wife, Alice lived in ironwood, Mich. until 1986 when they moved to 416 Park Lane, Mishicot. He was a member of Rockwood Ev. Lutheran church.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Ken Tesarik, rural Whitelaw; three grandchildren, Steve (Carie) Tesarik, rural Whitelaw, Susan Tesarik, Madison, Wis., Michael (Dana) Tesarik, Francis Creek; three great grandchildren, Sheila, Alex, Kyle Tesarik; one brother, Arthur Carlson, Pensacola, Fla.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; two sisters and one brother.

Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Rockwood Ev. Lutheran Church, Rockwood, until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Memorials would be appreciated for the Rockwood Ev. Lutheran Church, Rockwood.

The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

The family would like to thank the Season's staff of Shady Lane Nursing care Center for their care of Fritz this past year.
