Michael Havlichek, 86, who lived at Yindra Boarding Home, Francis Creek, the past five years, died Monday at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient since Saturday.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 9 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John Feeney will officiate and burial will be in Francis Creek National Cemetery.

Mr. Havlichek was born March 21, 1879, at Francis Creek, and he farmed in the Town of Kossuth until retiring 15 years ago. He married Anna Weihmuller Willert Dec. 31, 1913. She died in 1947.

Survivors are two stepsons, Harvey Willert of Swanton, Ohio and Henry of Two Rivers; five step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday where at 8 p.m. the Rosary will be recited.
