Mrs. William Reno, 81, of 733 S. 27th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after an illness of several months.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John United Church of Christ, Manitowoc, the Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in Kossuth National Cemetery, Town of Kossuth.

The former Mabel Brown was born Sept. 13, 1882, in New Hampshire, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Brown. She was married to the late William Reno in 1903 at Waterloo, Iowa. They located in Kewaunee County immediately afterward, later settling in Manitowoc County. Recently she had resided with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Maurer at Manitowoc. Her husband died March 10, 1941.

Surviving are two sons, Willard and Leonard Reno of Manitowoc; three daughters, Mrs. Suzetta Lane of Shawano and Mrs. Walter (Elizabeth) Maurer and Mrs. Marie Blashaka of Manitowoc; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Three daughters and a son also preceded her in death.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and after 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
