William Reno, 68, sign painter in the county for 35 years, died Monday afternoon at the home at Rockwood after an illness of several months.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Husar Funeral Home at Kellnersville with burial in the Francis Creek National cemetery.
Mr. Reno was born in New Hampshire on May 1, 1878, and in 1905 he married Mabel Brown, also of New Hampshire. The couple moved to Manitowoc county the year following their marriage. They established their home at Rockwood seven years ago.
Survivors are the widow; two sons, Willard of Manitowoc and Leonard of Rockwood; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph Blashka and Mrs. Theodore Blashka of Manitowoc, Mrs. Frank Lane of Tigerton and Mrs. Harry Schroeder of Oconto; and six grandchildren.
The body is lying in state at the funeral home.
