MOTHER DIES TWO MONTHS AFTER HER SON
Death for 47 Years Passed Pech Home; Two Visits in 8 Weeks
Death, which up to two months ago had not visited the home of Ignatz Pech in forty-seven years, followed its first visitation by a second early today when Mrs. Pech died after a brief illness at the family home in Kossuth.
Two months ago a son, Stephen Pech, died suddenly, the first member of a family of thirteen to be summoned. Mrs. Pech was prostrated by the shock of her son’s death and it is believed her death was hastened by grief.
Mrs. Pech was born in Bohemia July 10, 1849, and came to America with her parents when but three years old. Married to Mr. Pech forty-seven years ago the couple had made their home on the same farm in Kossuth
since that time.
Mrs. Pech is survived by her husband, nine sons and one daughter.
Funeral services will be held from the late home Monday morning.
