VACLAV TITERA
Vaclav 'Wencel' Titera was born Aug 9th, 1824 in the village of Ctineves, house #3 in Roudnice, Central Bohemia. He was the son of Vaclav/Wenzel Titera (1785-1848) and Marie Anna Satranova (1792-1866). He was one of 7 siblings: Joseph (1810-1810), Frantisek (1811-?), Rosalia (1813-?), Marie Anna (1815-1896, my direct line), Joseph (1820-?) and an infant brother un-named (1830-1830).
Valav married Marie Mary Krejcova on Aug 18th, 1851 in the village of Krabcice, Roudnice, Central Bohemia. A daughter, Rosalie (1852-1936) was born shortly after in the village of Ctnineves. Sometime between 1852-54, Vaclav, wife and daughter came to the US and settled in WI. 3 more daughters and a son where born in WI.
Vaclav died in 1876 and wife Marie died in 1917. Both are buried in the Francis Creek Cem. in Manitowoc, WI.
