This is my grandfather, who, with his wife Edith Elizabeth Emmerich, gave the world Mary Louise (Aunt Marylou), Edith Elizabeth (Aunt Betty), Frederick Henry Bealefeld Jr. (my father), and Evelyn Faith (Aunt Faith). My grandfather was a police officer in Baltimore City, Central District, for 26 years. He was well-liked by people on "his beat", often called "Beanie"; he had a wonderful sense of humor. So many grand memories I have of this man, and I am grateful for his presence and love in my life. My fondest memory, in August of 1977, he attended my wedding reception, and we talked and laughed. I miss him very much. He was a kind man, who married late in life (May 2, 1931), who was the apple of his mother's eye. He was often referred to as "her Fritzie".
An incredible man who with my grandmother, gave me awesome and loving memories! I miss you, grandpop.
