Rev. Levi Bronson Castle was the son of Levi and Olive (Bronson) Castle. He was the husband of Elizabeth Castle. They were married July 25, 1830. He was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference 1825 Discontinued 1826 Genesee Conference 1827 F 1829 East Genesee Conference at organization 1848 Located 1855 Readmitted Erie Conference 1871. Rev. Castle served during the War of 1812. He was an agent for the American Colonization Society in 1854.
