Betty J. Brenneman, age 82 of Madison Heights, formerly of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Madison Heights. She was born Sunday, January 17, 1932 in Lynn, Alabama.
Mrs. Brenneman loved to garden and enjoyed going to church. She worked in Medical Records at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak for 26 years.
She is survived by her children, Donna Spears and Jerry Spears; siblings, Willie Norris, Everett Norris, Clittie Mason, James Norris and Arthur Norris; 2 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband of 32 years John Brenneman, whom she married on June 4, 1965 in Miami, Florida; her parents, Arthur and Zader Norris; and daughter, Jeanette Spears.
The family will receive friends Monday 3-8 p.m. the Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, 2125 12 Mile Rd., Berkley (2 blks W of Woodward). Funeral Service will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
