Rebecca grew up in Ulysses and graduated from Ulysses High School and then moved to Garden City in the early '80s. She volunteered at the Emmaus House, American Legion and MASH.
Survivors include longtime companion Alvin Flynn of the home, two brothers, Carl M. "Butch" Lambert, of Fresno, Calif., and Frank L. Lambert II, of Marietta, Okla; and one sister, Nancy K. Emmert, of Coleman, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The graveside memorial service was at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 26 at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses.
All memorials are suggested to the Emmaus House in Garden City in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant, Ulysses, KS 67880.
