Jessie Eva Calhoun, age 100, died in Springfield on November 18, 2015. Born in Ozark County, Missouri on July 16, 1915, she was married to Frank Calhoun, former manager of Springfield's Kraft Foods factory, from age 18 until his death in 1983. Jessie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rear Admiral, USN (Ret.) John F. (Jack) and Claudia Calhoun of Lively; a granddaughter Cate Oravet and her husband Tony; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Edward Parker and two granddaughters, Erin and Elizabeth. Jessie had been a member of the South Street Christian Church since 1944.
